Editorial Policy
EBooks-Space maintains rigorous editorial standards to ensure every piece of content on this site provides genuine value to technical readers. This policy outlines how we select resources, write original content, handle corrections, and maintain quality over time.
Content Selection Standards
Every resource featured on EBooks-Space goes through a structured evaluation before inclusion. We assess technical accuracy relative to the publication date, author or publisher credentials, structural quality (does the content follow a logical progression?), and practical utility (does it teach skills that readers can apply?). Resources that fail any of these criteria are not included, regardless of popularity or availability.
We deliberately limit the number of resources per topic. A curated collection of eight high-quality references is more valuable than an exhaustive list of sixty entries that requires readers to sort through inconsistent quality themselves. Our topic hubs and reading lists prioritize signal over noise.
Original Content Standards
Guides, summaries, and reading cards on EBooks-Space are original editorial content written by contributors with hands-on experience in the technologies they cover. We do not generate content from templates, scrape other sites, or repackage existing summaries. Every word is written to provide specific, practical value.
Our writing follows these principles:
- Expert voice based on practical experience, not theoretical knowledge
- Specific, actionable information rather than generic overviews
- Honest assessment of strengths and limitations for every resource
- No exaggerated claims about quality, completeness, or uniqueness
- Clear distinction between factual statements and editorial opinion
Citation and Attribution
When we reference specific studies, research findings, or statistical claims, we name the source and publication context. We do not present unattributed statistics or vague references to unnamed experts. If we cannot identify a reliable source for a claim, we do not make the claim.
Reading cards describe and evaluate books and resources using fair-use editorial commentary. We do not reproduce substantial portions of copyrighted content. Our summaries represent our independent assessment of what a resource covers and who would benefit from it.
Legal Content Policy
EBooks-Space does not host, link to, or facilitate access to pirated content. Every resource we reference is either legally free (through publisher programs, open licensing, or author distribution) or commercially available through legitimate channels. When a resource is freely available, we note the legal basis. When it is commercially published, our reading cards help readers decide whether to purchase or borrow it from a library.
Update and Review Process
Technical content has a shelf life. We review all featured resources on a rolling basis, assessing whether the technical content remains accurate and relevant. Resources that become outdated are either annotated with context about their historical value or removed from active recommendations.
Guides are reviewed quarterly for accuracy. Learning paths are reviewed when significant changes occur in their subject areas. Topic hubs are reviewed whenever new resources are evaluated for inclusion.
Corrections
We take factual errors seriously. When an error is identified—whether by our team, a reader, or an external review—we correct it promptly and note the correction in our changelog. Significant corrections are noted inline on the affected page. We do not silently edit content that readers may have already relied upon.

Independence
Our content recommendations are editorially independent. We do not accept payment for inclusion, favorable reviews, or priority placement. The resources we feature are selected entirely on merit as assessed by our editorial criteria.
